Telemed's recent deal with Sepstream: An online picture archive and radiology information system
Western Australian B Corp, TeleMed, has recently implemented sepStream EMR/RIS/PACS™ technology at its rural clinics and has signed an exclusive distribution agreement to provide sepStream’s suite of cloud based medical imaging solutions throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Texas, this is sepStream’s first venture into the Australian market and Jeff Seppi, co-founder and COO of Seppi Technology Associates LLC, is delighted to partner with TeleMed in supporting their rural and regional operations.
sepStream’s scalable, cloud based health technology offers tailored digital solutions for radiology, cardiology and orthopaedic environments and enables organisations to implement an affordable, secure and content rich imaging management platform to improve their clinical services. Reports can be instantly delivered via the HL7 interface with GP & specialists practices, hospitals and allied healthcare.
Peter Tually, founder of TeleMed, has long been associated with telemedicine and believes this new generation of mobile technology will significantly improve the way doctors access their patient’s diagnostic results, particularly in rural areas where TeleMed operates.
